Center for Education and Research on Therapeutics on
Healthcare Information Technology (CERT-HIT)
-Translation and Dissemination Core-

The Translation and Dissemination Core (TDC) will:
     • provide support for the dissemination activities of         each CERT-HIT project
     • oversee the CERT-HIT's agenda for dissemination         activities and the educational products
      • identify opportunities for translational activities.

At the national level, the TDC  will work with the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA)   
to ensure that AMIA's 10 x 10 Program™  
10,000 providers trained in informatics by 2010
includes strong materials around therapeutics and HIT.

With the Institute for Safe Medication Practices (ISMP), the TDC will work to ensure that patient safety related lessons are disseminated widely through their newsletters and other mechanisms.
